Inspired from the classic Samfu that is traditionally made in Chinese brocade with a mandarin collar and Chinese buttons, we constructed the garment into a modern oversized shirt using the same fabric to be worn at any occasion.  Kemeja means Shirt in the Malay Language, there is also Malay influences in the design with the traditional Kekek panel at armhole.
